Yes, he played well - other than the 9 three-point attempts.

To be fair, he missed a SERIES of threes along with the rest of the
Kentucky Bomb Squad (i.e., Delk and McCarty). I wouldn't boo him/them for
*missing* them, I might consider booing for *taking* so many ill-advised
threes, if it got really egregious. As it did at one point - they kept
running to the 3-point line on the fast break, instead of the rack. It just
bugs the hell out of me (and not just me, if Tommy's groans on FSNE
broadcasts are any indication). One of those days, when Antoine steals the
ball in the backourt and goes in all alone, I half-expect him to spot up at
the 3-line instead of dunking it.
I'm sure it'll be pointed out to me that they were blowing out (an
undermanned) Milwaukee squad, that they're 42-32, all that stuff, but I'm
sorry, this intoxication with the 3 - when you have a numerical advantage
on the fast break! - is just bad basketball. Obie's incitement/condoning of
this insanity ought to be reason enough for him not to get Coach of the
Year. Not that I think he has a chance with the job Rick Carlisle's done
in Detroit.

He's not signed long term :) Alas, Delk (a/k/a "Poor man's Erick Strickland
with a rich man's salary" ) is.

He played really well. Then again, the Bucks' defense was extremely soft
and let him do his thing in the paint. In the playoffs, teams won't be
quite so generous, and if you keep Eric out the paint, he's pretty much
useless. He couldn't cover the Big Dog, but not many people can. I love
Eric's desire to do the right thing for the team - take it to the hole, get
fouled, make the big defensive stop - but a lot of times, he's just not
able to deliver. Still, I appreciate the thought. If he could ever regain
his health and find his mid-range J....
