I agree here 100%. He was like a disaster tonight. He fouled people 
unnecessarily
and commited needless turnovers. He looked bad the majority of the night.
I can't believe OB stuck him in there. But hey...he was Clutch.

Wow..
What is this Kidd worship...stuff. Its way off base.
 
Pierce should be MVP...or Shaq. Even Iverson is a better choice. How bout 
Kobe? 

Not to mention superior point guards: guys like Gary Payton and Steve Francis 
who regularly outplay the guy. And those guys likely play on better teams 
too. Don't forget Jersey is in the sorry EAST. If they were in the west they 
wouldn't even be .500. They got smacked around on their west coast road trip.

I mean the east sucks. Does anyone really think the Pistons are really a good 
team?
Do they even have 1/8 the talent of the Clippers? 

Back to Kidd: He is a flat out great passer, an excellent rebounder , a tough 
competitor, and a great leader. Plus like Bird he knows HOW to play the game.

But lets be real: 

1) He flat out sucks on defense....
    90% of the point guards in the league beat him like a drum off the 
dribble.
    Phoenix got so fed up with this they shipped him out. Unfortunately they 
    shipped him out for the Terry Glenn of Basketball...

2) He really doesn't dribble all that well.
    He is a high dribble type...and prone to turnovers. 

3) He can't really shoot.
    He will hit some clutch shots but on average..well he misses.

He did out play Kenny tonight but he really wasn't all that great. I wouldn't 
trade Walker or Pierce for him based on his showing vs. the Celtics.

But the best pure point guard? Whatever...
I guess you never seen Gary Payton play. Or perhaps you missed the whole
John Stockton thing. Stock can at least shoot some.

Sorry a point guard should be able to shoot, dribble and play defense. 
A real point guard can do it all. Dribble shoot and rack up the assists play
DEFENSE!..and lead your team somewhere in the post season.

Kidd fails on all accounts. There is a reason why his Phoenix team always
tanked in the playoffs. What has Kidd ever done in the playoffs? How can
you be a best pure point guard and never do jack in the post season. 

Better then GP HOW?

Its folly to parrot the media...Kidd this and Kidd that...
damn. Obviously that Marbury guy was a bit of a cancer. We have seen what
Kidd can do before...he is a an old dude. And MVP or best point guard he is 
not.

Pierce really was far and away the best player on the court. What makes 
Pierce
great is he defense. He is a GREAT defensive player, and a great offensive 
player.
He can pass too..but most of the time he doesn't need to. He after all..can 
shoot.

You can't convince me the guy is better then Pierce..never mind better then 
Kobe or
Shaq or KG.  MVP. I dont think so.
