No, he didn't. I thought we were going to lose the game because Obie
insisted on keeping him in the game even though he was complete garbage
offensively and nobody else was scoring besides Walker and Pierce. Believe
me, his line looks a lot better than his game did tonight. Still he made a
big steal and a huge 3 at the end, so I guess Obie's faith in him was
justified.

Yeah, right. This is just more evidence that the assist statistic (rather,
the way it's kept) is completely meaningless. Kenny and Kidd weren't even
on the same planet tonight. Kenny basically sucked, although he, like EWill
made a couple of good plays at the end. Kidd is only the best PG and pure
basketball player since ??? He's just unbelievable. Stats can't describe
him. If there's any rhyme or reason to the MVP vote, he HAS to be voted the
MVP.

Yeah, he's a stiff's stiff. But as long as he's a rebounding stiff, I can
live with it. Alas, most nights he isn't.

>Seemed like OB subbed creatively, what's the report on him that saw the game?

I thought Obie was going to lose the game with his subbing. Since Delk and
Rogers didn't immediately produce, he put them on the bench and went with
the old boys down the stretch. So it was back to the Pierce-and-Walker
show. This is another reason why this win was so significant - we won with
two players playing well and one guy rebounding well. The rest basically
sucked. Yet we still won, because it was the right two players who were
hot, we held our own on the boards, and played pretty good D. This is good
news, because we can expect the supporting cast, namely Kenny, Delk and
Rogers, to do better offensively on most nights.
