After how upset listmembers got on Thursday when we lost to one of the
league's best I'm concerned that our list may lose some members tonight
following our performance against one of the league's least.

The Celtics put on a demo of how not to pass the ball in the second quarter
and after that they never got back in stride. The Rockets murdered us on the
boards which isn't surprising since their guards rebound as well as our big
men. We had no answer at all for Cutino Mobley who pumped in 40. Despite
shooting 48% to their 45% (and 50% to 33% on 3's) we were outscored by 17 at
the foul line where we were only granted 9 attempts (at least one was for a
defensive 3 second violation) of which we made 6.

Between the second half in Dallas and the second, third and fourth quarters
in Houston we got to see just how ugly the Celtics' "offense" can be. It can
really be called offensive but for the wrong reason.

As feared by many, Delk replaced Kedrick in the starting lineup (and Kedrick
never got in the game) but despite picking up 3 assists didn't seem to be
involved. Rodgers only played 6 minutes and was clearly not in sync with his
new teammates but he did take the ball to the hoop for his 2 pts. and gave us
a brief glimpse of what we hopefully can expect from him.

I disagree completely with starting Delk although the way we roared out of
the gate might make it look like a good move in Obie's eyes. I thought Delk
was supposed to give us some instant offense off the bench and there was no
help coming from the bench (Antoine & Paul scored 55 of our 89 pts) which
provided just 9 points.

Will someone check on Josh and make sure there are no sharp objects within
his reach?
