Being a Wake Forest grad who has watched Songaila on many an occasion I
think he has much more upside than McCarty.   He will also play better in a
controlled offense as opposed to the Shaw league run and gun "offense".   He
will provide scoring down low and is a very tough player.  I personally
don't like the way the Celtics are treating him.  After starting for 4 years
in the ACC I don't see any benefit to going over to Europe to "hone his
game"
