Are you nuts?  You don't intentionally foul up one with 3 seconds left.
That's insane.  The real question is, why is Kenny in the game for the final
defensive possesion?  You can't fault Kenny, though.  He was just going hard
for a loose ball.  But why on Earth was he on the court instead of Palacio
or Johnson?
