maybe a sign of hope..

I was just wondering how Antoine's game is progressing. And I found out that
his FG% is going up and up after game 2. It has gone up from .245 to .384 at
the moment. Yes I know .384 is not good, but it's a slow but steady line
going up with no drops at all. (ok not entirely true, he went from .366 to
.365 after game 7).

His 3pt fg%, is a little different, but my conclusion is that Walker's 3pt %
is steady between the range .380 and .410. Now that's not bad at all I
think.

this was just purely about the percentage, not about the quantity or quality
(shotselection) of the shots. Besides, look at Allen Iverson: .321 and .143
and he shoots more than Walker does. Vince Carter is shooting more too, but
he's making them as well.

The funny thing is that his offensive rebounding is steady between 3 and 3,5
and defensive is between 8 and 9. That gets you in the top 10 offensive, top
6 defensive and top 7 total rebounds.

His assists are slipping now, from 6apg to 5apg. But still about the same as
Vlade Divac (voted best passing big man by the fans at nba.com) and Kevin
Garnett (also nominated). There are no other big men with higher assists
averages.. Garnett turns the ball over more than Walker does this season by
the way. Walker is just at 3.0, while 3.7 last season. His FT% is .724, his
highest in his career.

So if he gets his FG% at around .420 to .440 and the fans will start giving
him some more credit (is he still doing the annoying wiggle or getting
technicals?), can somebody name me an (eastern conference) (power) forward
with better numbers?
