It was a much needed W and you are right, Pierce was clutch on the offensive end. 

Unfortunately, he still is wont to try to force things in traffic by again trying to dribble behind his back in the paint (that makes at least 4 times he's done that over the last 4 games and EVERY single time he trys it he either gets picked or he turns it over); his passing to teammates is still suspect; he had his shot blocked THREE times in the second quarter alone (twice on the same sequence); and Eddie Jones blew right past him several times like Pierce was either a statue or was cemeted to the floor. He also had 7 TO's. 


As I've said often this season, I absolutely cringe every time he snags a defensive rebound and feels compelled to dribble the ball the length of the court instead of giving it up. I wish to hell he'd stop thinking he has point guard skills or even decent handles in the open court because he simply does not. Let's face it, he's a terrific scorer but he's average at best as a passer and he's a below average ballhandler.
