I agree with the original sentiment by Michael Gooen, which you clearly 
don't understand. Michael isn't saying that he wouldn't applaud this trade 
if it happened. I think the vast majority of people on the list would agree 
that Webber is a better talent than Walker, coming off a near MVP season. 
His point is that you're proposing yet another pipe dream trade. For a sign 
and trade to work, the free agent has to agree to the deal. Webber has to 
say, "I want to come to Boston." Webber has publicly speculated about quite 
a few teams that he might be interested in playing for, and he hasn't 
mentioned Boston once.

I actually don't have a serious problem about the original post suggesting 
Walker for Webber. I think it might have been the final straw for Michael, 
after listening to months of repeated suggestions to trade Walker. The 
weird thing is that you obviously think he's an overpaid underperformer who 
doesn't help his team, jacks up way too many 3's, doesn't play defense, 
etc., and yet you evidently think he has tons of trade value around the 
league too. It's just not consistent, unless you think you see something 
that the GMs in the league just can't comprehend.
