Re: DOB of the three Celtics rookies



Can't disagree with you there.  I would have loved Battier, Diop at 10/11
but they wern't available.  Went for BPA.  What else could you do.

I guess either something is in the works with our Center position or Wallace
expects Battie et al to improve.

I was thrilled by a few things with the draft;

1. Walker and Pierce in the war room at Healthpoint.  This is absolutly
positive.

2. Walker and Pierce calling Johnson to welcome him on board.  Can you say
maturity, leadership?

3. Johnson WANTED to come to Boston.  Thinks that this is a perfect match
for him.  He knows Walker as well.  This should help Johnson fit in.  Helps
eliminate the Alpha Dog issue.

4. It was Forte that is expected to play some PG.  Plus he is a shooter at
the two as well.  If he can move to the PG when we need outside scoring and
be able to defend the other teams PG that would help.
