For once you won't hear me harp on the cheap owner angle.

Croshere's contract runs through 2007 and hits the cap at an average of 7.3 
million per. In return, Boston could only send half the amount of 
Croshere's 2001-02 salary because of base-year compensation. All for a PF 
who shot .394 from the field with 4.8 boards last season in the first year 
of his contract.

We'd be in even deeper dog doo if BSG's Croshere-for-Walker trade had 
actually happened last summer as he confidently predicted. That was some 
scary stuff to deal with last summah.
