Re: Antoine's game vs. Minnesota

See, it's not only lossess where the critics can find something to chirp
about. Peter May. Yeah big deal if you like anything he writes. Isn't he
the guy who criticized the Sox for signing Ramirez?

We come up with a win on the road where we were tied entering the 4th
quarter against a decent team. We win the game but listen to this: "Toine
had an ugly-triple double. He had at least 10 lucky assists only cuz Pierce
knocked down the shots and he had a bunch of rebounds anyone coulda got."

Nobody mentions the assists he has lost out on because of dropped passes or
teammates missing easy shots over the course of the season. Why is that?
But let him have bad nights and he is branded as selfish because of some
alleged remarks made regarding number of touches which have thus far been
unsubstantiated.

> Ah, well, there's Peter May's comment as well about this being an "ugly
triple-double." I can remember the Walker of old who would have come away
with just the 6-for-26 shooting and no assists or rebounds (what? wasn't
Danny Forston or Forstron or Forloon(!) brought in by Pitino just to do
that) to speak of. Is it a sign that he is maturing? Certainly hope so.
However, I wouldn't be surprised to see him fade away a little over the next
couple of games - specially against Sacramento.

Pierce. There's been an occasional contribution from Stith and/or Brown. I
certainly hope that Mark Blount gets the playing time he deserves - while we
let old Vitaly go to Pot (pun intended).

unexpectedly at times and getting blown out at other times. This will change
only if Walker and Pierce decide to show up every night and they get some
support from the rest of the team. That's not going to happen until their
process of maturing is complete.
