RE: First 3 quarters = All Star

If he puts up good numbers for 3/4 of a game and then
botches it in the end where it counts most, how much
good does that do for the team. Didn't Vin Baker put
up huge numbers in Milwaukee and the Bucks would still
lose? As for best outside shooters, overall he's
improved but have you seen him the past month and a
half? He's been anemic from 3 point land and his shot
selection has gotten worse as the season wears on.
Part of Antoine's success in the shooting department
maybe that he hasn't had to play against any quality
defenders too often. Rasheed ate him alive and Toine
missed 21 shots. That's inexcusable to put up that
many shots and miss. Also Toine's Fg % is still
hovering at 40% which doesn't look too good.
Overall, I wouldn't go as far as saying that Toine is
SOLELY to blame for the C's misfortunes but he does
play a major part in many of the close games when he
forces the issue or takes his usual ill advised 3.
If he would take fewer shots and allow people like
Stith, Williams, and even Chris Carr to take more
shots, that would lighten the load on him. But it's
hard to get the ball to anyone when the other ballhog
(PP) is hoisting up 30 shots a game too. At this
rate, I too think the season is over. 25 wins maybe
30 if they're lucky.
