Re: V to Miami???

I don't know if Miami has anything we want other than EJ, Mason or Grant which won't happen.

Mutombo is again rumored in a couple of 3-ways with Vancouver and both NY & Portland. The Knicks are after Bibby too!

I also heard about a Kidd for Bibby rumor.

Little movement expected from C's

Celtics stuck with what they got - According to the Boston Globe: The trading deadline is Thursday, and most people don't expect much activity from the Celtics or the rest of the league. ''I think there will be a little bit of percolation in the league, but it won't be an Oklahoma land rush of action,'' said GM Chris Wallace.  For those who want to see Kenny Anderson traded, remember these numbers (in millions): $7.5, $8.3, $9.1. That's how much the 30-year-old guard will make from now until 2003, not many teams are willing to absorb that contract. .  Also, Celtics GM Chris Wallace has heard the names of those who might replace him next season, but he desperately wants to stay. ''We were brought in to do a job, and the job isn't finished yet,'' Wallace said. Wallace, hired by Rick Pitino in 1997, is in the final year of his deal. When Pitino resigned, it seemed logical the team he hired would follow him out of town. Celtics Rant
