latest win streak

Folks,

I can't keep from scratching my head as to what I have been reading on the
list.
The Celts are going to sweep the Lakers, and beat most of the western teams
on the road?
I appreciate that we want to root for the team, but let's be serious. This
team is not that good.
If we were in the mid 80s, yes they could do quite well on the road. 

I also want to agree with Mark. Yes, Antoine and Paul, and no doubt many
others on the team
quit on Pitino. I am not that surprised about Antoine, he lost my respect a
few years ago. I guess
Paul is the classy player I thought that he was. Blow up the team, heck
trade it with the Grizzlies since
they want to move anyway (couldn't see that coming). The captains are a
disgrace, I hope they have to play
for the Clippers the rest of their career. Even with a new coach and gm in
the future, I still don't think that they 
are going to be winning anything anytime soon. 

The team is not good, the fact that they won games going into the allstar
break means nothing other than 
perhaps they were playing teams taking it a little easy while they were
playing over their heads. This is 
definitely a four quarter season, and just as in a game, a scoring spurt
entering halftime does not a victory 
make. With the schedule ahead, I can't understand some of the predictions.
My predictions are as follows
for the rest of the season: 9-24. And a chance to draft poorly in June.

Perhaps I am grumpy watching the Sixers play so well locally, but I just
don't think the celts are going anywhere
again this year.
