Nice post Steve.

I would add that the fact that we are playing with a center position which
is less than what the elite-caliber teams have, and seemingly, we all agree
that this is a key component to a championship squad.

Does the fact that Larry Brown is classified as the "best"coach in the
league, though I look more to George Karl, coincide with the arrival of
Mutombo, or Iverson's adherence to Brown's plan?

To me, Toine is a victim of his own ability in the sense that he is among
the most versatile players in the league, therefore, we have difficulty in
accepting that he is not able to perform at that elite level each and every
night.  He is the leading assist man among forwards, so the belief that he
doesn't give the ball up can be challenged.  He's made some spectacular
passes within the past few games which have not gone unnoticed by everyone
excpet for a few of his unwavering critics.
