Re: Beyond Herren

Why must we grasp for negatives all the time? Yesterday, the Celtics play
precisely the game everyone on this list has been dying to see. Yet, we are
worried that Antoine did not have any assists? As a team, the Celtics had 28
assists last night. That was the most of any team who played last night.

Evidently, when Walker is handing out assists and scoring 30 points on 48%
shooting, he is a selfish player. When Walker plays within the flow of the
game, scoring only 18 points, it alarms us that he had no assists.

It is obvous that last night was one of those games that Antoine didn't have to
carry the Celtics. So he didn't. And he didn't try to force the issue.
Remember, this was a game against Chicago not too far from Antoine's home. That
he played under control is very promising.

Elsewhere, someone else commented about the Celtics abominable rebounding
numbers. The bos score doesn't support that. The Celtics had 41 rebounds, 15
of which were offensive boards. The Bulls also had 41 rebounds, but only 10
were offensive boards. No one Celtic dominated the boards last night. Every
Celtic did their share of work rebounding. Only Miskiri had no rebounds and he
played just 3 minutes. Every other Celtic but Stith had at least 2 rebounds.

Looks like a real team effort to me. Why complain?

I'm guessing 45 wins this season.

Jonathan
