RE: Keep Kenny Anderson!



I don't think you have to worry about Kenny going anywhere until after the
2002 season (when he'll have only a year left and someone may want him for
cap space clearance in the following year).  Kenny is slightly above average
but not worth the salary in terms of $ and years.  Clearly, Pitino traded
too much his first few years w/o considering the cap implications.  Of
course, who knows what M.L. Carr was thinking inking Barros,Minor and
Ellison to the contracts they received.  I think GMs are now in tune.  No
crazy money will be given out to fringe players.  Battie may be the best
example of giving someone too much money on "upside".  Prove it to me first
and then I'll pay you.  That's my take anyway.
