Re: Keep Kenny Anderson!

My problem with Kenny is that I just don't feel he has shown a willingness
to alter his game from the scorer he has thought he was in the past to a
point guard who's primary responsibility is to get the ball to his teammates
in a position where they are most effective.

He is strong dribbler and CAN be a good passer when he chooses to be, but he
has that New Yawk mentality about scoring. I'm not sure he will be able to
temper his individual game, like Tiny did, for the sake of the team.

I recall several times last year, in the few games which I was able to see,
when Kenny would have the ball on a 3on 2 or 2 on 1 break and try to take it
himself rather than set up someone for an easy layup. He seemed to be
content with missing the shot or drawing a foul when a simple pass may have
led to a 3 point play. Now he is not the only guy on the team who is guilty
of the above transgression, but as the point guard, he should be setting the
example.
