Re: Vote on Fortson

I apologize in advance if I am re-stating something which may have been
raised in my absence lately. Didja miss me Dan??????

Had we kept Mercer, we would have lost him getting nothing in return. If RP
and Wallace had gone that route, can you imagine the hatchet job May and
others would have done on them? And justifiably so. Also, Griffin may not
have made the team had Mercer stuck, because of the presence of Pierce.

Regarding Yogi, haven't you noticed that he has been picking splinters for
the 2nd year in a row now with the Raptors? If he was anything near the
defensive and rebounding whiz he was purported to be, they would not have
signed the following 3 greybeards; Annie Oakley, Antoinette Davis and
Whatchusay Willis. It is a large stretch to say what if so and so had
panned out when they are warming the bench giving absolutely no
contribution. Battie gives us far more than Stewart gives the Raps, and, of
course, he takes heat for his inconsistency. Imagine what the list would
say about a player who never sees the court? (Perv Jr.)
