RE: Father BSG Administers Last Rights

Not sure if it works for the cap but trading Walker + (#1 from Utah
preferrably maybe Denver's) to Chicago for its #1 + Crawford + Artest or
Pfizer?.

Then we have Chicago's #1, Our #1, Denvers or Utah #1. Of course, the odds
would be good with the ping pong balls but they were good a few years back.
Who do you select? I'd take Eddie Griffin from Seton Hall over
Curry,Chandler or anyone else. That guy will be a star - maybe the next
Kevin Garnett and it will not take him 4 years. If our #1 is top 10 then
maybe Jason Williams from Duke who looks like a very good pro - maybe Frank
Williams of Illinois if he comes out early (I would switch Crawford to
shooting guard - his natural position IMHO).

Then you have a squad which will be young but full of promise with a new
coach without the press (although ironically the team would be talent-wise
better suited for the press).

PG Williams (Jason or Frank)
SG Crawford
SF Pierce
PF Griffin
C Battie

I think you'd have to be absolutely sold that Curry would be the next Shaq
as opposed to the next Stanley Roberts. If you'll recall Roberts was the
better prospect out of high school and I think its much easier to spot
potential success at any spot other than Center. All the good centers in
the league today would not have been #1 picks out of high school. They all
cut their teeth in NCAAs (Shaq,Duncan,Mourning,etc...). Drafting Curry
might be too much on potential; Griffin has played at least against NCAA
talent and is already an all-american and could end up on many of the
post-season teams.

I think the focus would be to move Anderson and/or Potapenko's contracts
would be my top priorities taking little in return if I had to.

See I'm already looking forward to the draft because I firmly believe the
Celtics will have a worse record than last year. I think it'll be 30 wins
+/-4. They'll be hard pressed to win 25 games at home and they will be
lucky to win 10 games on the road.
