Not that Pitino would EVER be this opportunistic, but what if:

Celtics get:  Vin Baker and Ruben (sp?) Patterson

Sonics get:  Tony Battie, Eric Williams, Calbert Cheaney and lottery
protected 2002 #1 pick.

If necessary, Chicago Bulls (or Clippers, if cash is included from one or
both teams) get:  Greg Minor, some sort of 1 yr cap filler from Seattle
and a Celtics second round pick (assuming the need for a third team to
deal w/Baker's and Battie's BYC status).

If the relationship between Seattle and Baker is beyond repair, they may
do this.  

Celtics take a flyer on a former All-Star.  Move Walker to the 3 spot.

WHY NOT?

Oh yeah.  Because Pitino ISN'T sufficiently opportunistic and even if he
were, Gaston's too cheap.  sigh...........
