Chris Carr signs with Celtics

Done deal. Read about it at

And here's his onhoops profile.

Lots of talent, but he's yet to use it properly...Jus like Walt Frazier,
Chris played at Southern Illinois...Taken in the second round, 56th overall,
by the Phoenix Suns in the 1995 draft...Carr played well in his rookie
season, showing good shooting range, great hops, and explosiveness off the
bench...A second round pick, Carr was a free agent after his rookie year,
and signed a 3-year, 2.7 million dollar contract with the Minnesota
Timberwolves that expires after the 1998-99 season...Improved his game with
the Timberwolves, and made a second appearance in the Slam Dunk Contest,
this time finishing second to the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant...Started
at off guard in 1997-98, before ankle injuries and a trade for Anthony
Peeler moved him to the Injured List and the bench...Thinks he can shoot
from deep, but he's got another thing coming...Another miss
coming...Touché...A terrible defender, and the fact that he is regularly
outscored 25 to 10 by the opposing team's shooting guard is a good reason
why the Timberwolves didn't win 50 games in 1997-98...Traded to the New
Jersey Nets in the big ole Stephon Marbury trade of 1999...Started off A-ok
with the Nets, but will be forever fighting for a job...Extremely athletic,
if he would just use that athleticism on the defensive end, he, he, he
couldn't be stopped, dang it.
