Re: Pitino's Coaching Style



My prediction and guess would be his style now wouldn't really work in the
NBA...period!  Wasn't it obvious in the first two years???!!!   He had a
balanced team when he was in NY.  A dominant center, shooters and slashers
and a terrific PG in Mark jackson (was Strickland there too???)  Anyways,
I'm just saying that his run gun, full court pressin' style of play are for
college ball and not for scientific-halfcourt-bang it up! style in the NBA.
(refer to team success 1997-1998...)

So, again, my prediction is that he'll struggle to have a "good" .500 record
and will split before or after the All Star.  Crazy huh!  Well, we'll just
see then.
