Barros/Bucks

Based on this, he (and many others) advocate moving Kenny if we can. I would
just caution here, we are talking 3 games! Do 3 games suddenly show Pitino or
the rest of us something that Barros' multi-year tenure in Boston has not? All
season long I've heard how this guy can't run the team, how play took a turn
for the worse when Kenny would go to the bench. So let's rein in our
enthusiasm here.

I am bummed the C's couldn't finish off Milwaukee, especially at home,
especially with Robinson sitting out. But then I look at how injury-depleted
we are. Someone posted a few days ago about how playoff contenders have
starter-quality NBA veterans on their benches. With the exception of Michael
Curry, every guy the Bucks brought off their bench (Cassell, Gilliam, Del
Negro, Ervin Johnson) has been an NBA starter for significant stretches of his
career. With no Minor, with Barros and Battie starting, we had a bench that
would find minutes scarce in the CBA (Wallah, Jones, Garnett & Riley). We can
blame Pitino for that in the big picture, but I think that given that reality
it may have been a bit much to expect our stahtahs to be able to fend off the
Bucks for the whole game.

We need to beat the Knicks or Bugs (both of whom are clawing for playoff
spots) in order to make it out of the teens in wins this season.
