Re: VP (I love Vitaly!)

Sorry, I didn't mean Potapenko is one of the better starting 5s (starting
centers). I meant that with him complementing Walker, Pierce, Mercer and
Kenny, we potentially have one of the better starting five-somes in the
league. Thanks for pointing out that I was being unclear.

By the way, I have to respond to the continued Popeye-bashing. He's coming off
the most debilitating injury a professional athlete can suffer. RP has said
all along that it will be next season until he can really contribute. Let's
wait until then before we all rush to condemn him. Teams were reportedly
lining up to sign him, so that should tell you something. He's been a solid
and productive pro up until his injury. Pitino can't win with this group -- if
Jones had walked and then successfully rehabbed, people would have been ready
to rip Pitino for another blown move. And what is with all this "Anderson was
a mistake?" Do people think we'd be better off with Chauncey Billups and Dee
Brown?? KA may not be the right man for the job, but he's a damn sight better
than what we gave up for him.
