I think that some days it just doesn't pay to turn on the computer. First
we get the news that Michael Curry is soon to be Rick Pitino's first option
on offense, and Tony Delk his second. This brings to mind the undying rumor
of Pitino's love affair with Jamal Mashburn. And now here comes the
Nosferatu of trade rumors "with a twist": Walker for Baker, "depending on
what happens with Penny," whatever that means. Dear God!...and you all
wonder why some of us on this list can't help but think Pitino is an
incorrigible screw-up! One step forward, two steps back. Yes, I know
they're only rumors, but you all know in your hearts that he's capable of
anything. Was there a laugh track in the background when Pitino talked
about Michael Curry's offensive game? Please...enough is enough...ya'
know!?! I just can't take anymore. Somebody tie Pitino up, throw him in a
closet, and keep him in there until next October. Throw Chris Wallace in
with him. They can tell each other stories about how good Dwayne Schintzius
was in college.
