RE: Sympathy pains

My beer or Claudia's (I think "he" actually is having a mint julep).

Again living in the Portland area it is impossible not follow to a degree
what is happening, being more than a passing fan is not ever going to be the
case considering how this team has been run in the last 5 or 6 years.

It is not pretty this morning, with Anthony definitely flying the coop,
Jermaine crying in his beer as an ex-Blazer (not sure if he is old enough to
drink yet) and the esteemed JR Rider being the mouthpiece for the whole lot
is borderline on insane (he has an escape for next/last season of his deal).
Throw in Damon's whining and Rasheed's behavior, along with (once again)
that unbelievable display after beating the respected Jazz, they should have
a good offseason. It takes only the most hardened of fans in Portland to
want to watch all this crap without feeling some shame.

The Blazers had a fine season, but they went out in a way that might even
make the Fakers look good. Ought to be interesting next year, and whoever
plays the Spurs might just want to hold on tight for the ride.

I am not worked up just yet,
Greg

Let's all give a shout out to Greg O. (and Claudia) today. I'm sure he's
crying in his breakfast beer, but hey, at least his team advanced to the
conference semis, which is a lot more than another team we could all mention
has done in a decade.
