You Know.....

I've been assuming that LA turned down our Mercer for Wright offer. But i read the following tit-bit on nbatalk: " Wright is a hot commodity. He languished in LA, but everyone sees potential and he looks like he might come at the right price. He looks to be second on the list behind Jermaine O'Neal in Indiana, Boston, who has no cap room has offered Ron Mercer among others, Vancouver would love to get him, but also is out of cap room. The Lakers are a dark horse here. They need another big guy and may try to swing a Derek Fisher for Wright deal with the Clippers."

It's a lot easier to believe that the young player with "future all star written all over him" is Wright than it is to believe that was said of Walker. Jersey Red also spoke of a plan b and c. What if the Samaki Walker trade is the plan B or C? Maybe we are all on the wrong track here. Where did that phony report come from last winter? Maybe the reason none of the boston papers has reported on the Walker deal is that it's not likely to happen unless something else falls through. Why hasn't the Globe had anything about the trade, anyway?

food for thought...
