POINT GUARDS

Why does the arrival of David Wesley, if that happens, mean Kenny has to go?
Why? I don't understand. Seems to me this is what we need. I think Barros
has done a nice job and deserves more respect than he gets, but Wesley has
made himeself a good point guard and we know what happened last year when
Kenny went down. We need both of them, in my humble opinion. Also, Kenny
got off to a bad start, but so did a huge percentage of the NBA. So what?
I think knowing another good point guard is on the bench will make Kenny
work harder and be better.

I also don't think we're that bad off at center. Andrew continues to
improve, works hard every night, and with a little conditioning and playing
time I believe Riley will do, too. Popey is rusty, but I think he'll
contribute down the line also, perhaps in the playoffs if they get
there.I've always liked David Robinson, but he just doesn't have the fire
our young team has, he's become fragile, often injured, etc. and I don't
think that's the way to go at all. It's scary to think of another highly
paid center sitting on the bench and doing the team no good whatsoever,
while making it impossible to trade them.

We need two good point guards more than we need a center right now, and we'd
have that with Kenny and David. David can run and he can shoot. 'nuff
said.
