Kenny Anderson

Hi folks,

There were some comments on this list that "Kenny Anderson sucks",
because of his low assist totals and high number of shots, and low
shooting percentage these first 3 games, and now they say to get rid of
him. All I can say is "where's your long-term memory"? A player is
not as good as his last game. Kenny hasn't looked good these first 3
games. EVERYONE goes through up and down periods. Anderson is in a
down period, but his teammates and the lockout are partly to blame.

If you remember the Celtics with him and without him last season,
you'll remember what a difference he made, and you'll realize that once
the Celtics are a couple of weeks into the season, everything will
start clicking again and Anderson will look like the point gaurd he
was at the end of last season.

Once the Celtics rebound better and get people running on offense,
Anderson will have a chance to do his thing, which is transition
basketball. Right now Pitino is trying to teach him defense and the
press, and it's probably a lot for Kenny to think about, but it will
pay dividends later this year and next year.
