RE: Ron Mercer

Denver actually has a good young team, and Mercer has been very surprising
on 3's. Posey & Keon have played well. Although their record is not
excellent the record of teams they played was something like 75 and 55 a
week or two ago, so they should improve their record when they play some
weaker teams.

Its now 5:10pm (or 17:10)

Denver is .467 and last year they finished .280

Remember though that they now have a decent bench. LaFrentz is back and
they are generally much better than last year even without Ron Mercer
(given that they dont have someone shorter than McDyess at center, have
solid rookie play from Posey and veteran leadership in the form of George
McCloud).

Cheers,

Warwick
