Because that is the player we traded for. The same with Battie and most of the team. One night excellent, the next 5 they seem to be nonexistent. Tony has played well the last few games so maybe he is getting the time he needs to improve.  The L.A times ripped on the East and noting all the teams with the top records are in the west except Miami. Bird said the rule changes favor the West, because of the East's physical style.. On the Celtics they stated wait until they have more road games, stating something like 9 of the first 14 were at home.
