RE: AW

I have to agree with Mark. Our hopes have been high but he has not really
matured. Although I don't like moving him for geiger or ratliff straight up,
these guys always seem to be injured. AW does not have a lot of jumping
ability or low post presence. I still would love to get Grant Hill the next
best thing to Shaq & Duncan. Did anyone see Duncan's block to win the game
tonight ? There's the best player in the NBA.

Walker's ability to create and pass (in theory) as well as play inside

I can't imagine a scenario where AW would compliment Iverson. What I think
you would see is two huge egos battling for who gets the shots.

As for Walkers "inside play", I have yet to see it except for occasional
flashes. As a matter of fact the ONLY shot Walker shoots with any kind of
rhythm or form is the 3 pointer when he has time to set himself. (and that
is the shot I hate to see him take the most)
How do you get to be 6-10 and develop no low post moves?!? Think about
it. He has no moves on the block, except a spin to the baseline or a sort
of half hook. In both cases, he never shoots the shot the same way
twice. Really solid low post moves (McHales up and under, Chief's baseline
spin) had the same fundamental execution every time. I am also disappointed
that he has never developed any kind of midrange jump shot.

I have had high hopes for AW every since the C's got him (might have been
ML Carr's best moment) but IMHO he has developed not one iota since
becoming a Celtic, and a Celtic CAPTAIN at that. If he won't average for
this team 20 pts on 45% shooting, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 70% from the
line, I say trade him.
