Will Perdue, anyone?
According to NBAtalk.com today, the Spurs might be
willing to do a sign and trade for Will Perdue because they were unable to land
a "3" in the free agent market. The C's certainly could oblige them, what
with the current glut at SF.
Why not offer Eric Williams to the Spurs and land a
legit "5" with championship experience and the veteran presence that RP has been
harping about; and at the same time free up the logjam at the SF
position?
Then the end result of the Denver trade looks
even better: Mercer, Popeye,
Schintzius for Fortson, Perdue, Washington,
and the #1 !!!!
