Re: TALKING TO PLAYERS
Hunter is a stooge of the 30 odd
players who are making big money. The medium class of NBA is failing to
understand that if the cap is set to X mill and the Larry Bird exception players
keep on making what they are making, then the middle class players end up making
much less. Hunter's worry is, by talking to players, the GM's will drive this
very point by discussing
some numbers which
the middle class has no hope of making under the current CBA. This will not only
expose him but prove to a majority of players, Stern assertion of high powered
agents running the union. - Mishra
How does everyone feel about the League letting the
clubs talk to the players? Do you agree with Hunter that they're
trying to undermine the union? Just curious.
