WNBA -- My 2 cents

I've been a fan of the WNBA ever since the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, the Olympics of the women.  The soccer team, softball team, syncho swimming, gymnastics, and swimming teams all came through big time.  The basketball team got the most publicity, winning their gold medal right before the closing ceremonies.  I saw a few games last year, and the games are interesting to watch.  I guess that the league hasn't yet been perverted with huge salaries, Dennis Rodmans and Latrell Sprewells, so that's why the league is appealing.  Bringing a WNBA team to Boston would be fantastic, and I'm all for it.  Hey, ladies, take your guys out to see them!  Make 'em sit and watch!  I think that the Olympic team raised the bar of women's basketball in general, and absent of wild slam dunks, it's very competitive and fun to watch.  Show a Boston WNBA team out here on the left coast, I'll cheer 'em on.
