**if you have differing opinions or I have placed players way too
high/low please correct me as these are only what I think. I dont really
know NCAA much as I only follow big names as thats all I get to see!!

Boston Roster after 1st round of draft

 C: Knight Owolakandi Ellison DeClercq
PF: Jones DeClercq McCarty Walker
SF: Walker McCarty Bowen Jones Minor
SG: Mercer Bowen Barros Minor Jones
PG: Anderson Barros Edney

Players that are expendable: Travis Knight, Dontae Jones, Greg Minor,
Tyus Edney, Pervis Ellison

Position by position need -

C: Celtics need an experienced starter to teach Michael Owolakandi.
Pervis Ellison is too injury prone to be of much use, but, if he did
ever stay injury free he would be a very vital piece to the Celtics
problems at center. Celtics need to find some takers of Travis's big
contract. I think a team like Chicago would re-build using a center like
Travis, or a team like Minnesota or Washington that needs that sort of
center in their system may take him aboard.

PF: Popeye Jones seems like the perfect fit for Pitino's system. He is a
great rebounder, both offensively and defensively, which shows the guy
is a complete hustler and that is what Pitino loves. Had Roy's knees
been up to the pounding he would not have gone. Lets hope Popeye is our
sailor man. Our backups at this position are sufficient in this new era
with Andrew DeClercq, Walter McCarty and Antoine Walker to man the fort.

SF: This is the Celtics position of greatness. They have one of the best
players in the league starting here in Antoine Walker with Walter
McCarty, Bruce Bowen, Greg Minor and Dontae Jones coming off the bench
to lend in support. Needless to say anything more this could be the best
up and coming small forward team in the league.

SG: With Ron Mercer the Celtics dont need to find a starter. They should
try and lose two of their backups, ideally Greg Minor and Dontae Jones
and sign an young but experienced backup to replace them moving Dana to
a full-time backup point guard. Bruce Bowen is also a key to the teams
defensive strategy at this position.

PG: Kenny Anderson is an ideal experienced team leader and Tyus Edney
and Dana Barros chip in ideal support as the backups. This position does
not need any improvements.

Free Agents that would be ideal to this Celtics team. (Celtics have
about $7 mil to spend)

C: Jayson Williams, Terry Davis, Vlade Divac, Matt Geiger, Ike Austin,
Olden Polynice

SG: Malik Sealy, Fred Hoiberg, Alvin Williams, Shawn Respert, Jaren
Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, Jon Barry, Rick Brunson

I'd be majorly happy with a Vlade Divac and Alvin Williams/Fred Hoiberg
summer... My second choices would be a Jayson Williams and Rick Brunson
summer.

The only reason Jayson's not #1 is because our chances of getting him
are around zero to none.

If we get a center, kiss goodbye to Travis as soon as we find an offer
(yes, even if its the same offer Denver gave us for Eric Williams).
