I heard the same thing last night on the TV or radio. The league says that
the players received in the trade have to come as "activated" players, not
on the injured list. So Toronto has to consider Rogers as "active" and
Boston has to consider P.Jones and Tabak as "active" for 5 days from the trade.

That means the Celtics will have 12 players active, which is the maximum.
Of course, only 9 were at the game last night, and only 10 will dressed to
play once Anderson is there. After the 5 day period, they can put Tabak
and P. Jones on the injured list, which will give them room to take Ellison
and/or D. Jones off, if they're ready to come off, and they said last night
both of them were about ready to play.

So the Celtics *have* been carrying a full roster of 12 "active" players
the whole time, it's just that 2 of them (P.Jones and Tabak) are currently
unable to play.

What I'm surprised about is that the league office hasn't been after them
for keeping 3 players on the injured list the whole season when clearly
there have been times when some of those players haven't been injured.
Now that won't be a problem anymore, since they're down to 2 extra players,
and one is out for the season, so if everyone else gets healthy at the same
time they'll only have to fake 1 injury at a time instead of up to 3.
I doubt that pick up a CBA guy for any more than 10 days because then they
might have to start faking 2 injuries again.

By the way, it's spelled Dontae', with an apostrophe at the end.
Just think "a-e-i-o-u", with the "i-o-u" replaced by an apostrophe.
