Re: TRADES/ML

Hello
I agree that Williams , walker, Wesley are the future of this team along with
Duncan and someone else. Fox however is gone off to Toronto most likely.
This leaves a large gap at SG which could be filled in the draft(mercer,
daniels). I dont see why we are bashing Antoine. There didnt seem to be a
problem during the season. Maybe with ML stepping down we must find someone
new to blame. Antoine worked hard all season and improved with each game.
He didnt hog the ball(Iverson) or get into any trouble. He also wasnt just
a scorer working hard on the defensive end. He claims to have no problem
with Pitino but even if he does Pitino will have to work with him and maybe
help him tone down slightly.. Walker for Baker is not a good deal. Baker is
just an older version of Camby. He is a star without a position. Antoine is
quite versitile and played every position lats season. The only other
players worth keeping on this team are Marty Conlan (despite his awkwardness
he is a hard worker and a good role player), Barros(only with a smaller
salary and health), Radja(depending on his health). That is all. Ellison,
Brickowski, Brown, Minor, Hamer, and all the other bums I am missing should
be history. All for different reasons. Ellison because of injuries, Brick
because of age and pure uselessness, Brown because of his attitude and lack
of size, Minor because he cant shoot, hamer because of uselessness. Is it
me or does Pitino and anyone sound better then Pitino/Carr. Id rather have
Lou Gorman then Carr. that maybe a stretch but at least he might take some
risks on prospects instead of useless, aging rolepayers. Carr is too engaged
with what people think of him to make good decisions. Why dont we just hire
the globe staff because they actually know what they are talking about?
I've ranted enough for one day,
Jay
