Hey Van Horn looks fine to me, but you have read Bird's comments on Van
Horn and I remember one more celtic scout who was unimpressed. Van Horn
still has the Desert Classic and the combines where his stock could go up
or plummet.

Denver might need a little insurance at PF because McDyess is an FA next
year. In addition the draft is loaded with PG's plus if they are that
desperate they could go for Cassell or Wesley who are FA's. They also have
a need at center and that void is much harder to fill.

Antawn Jamison is the best player available at #6 and I wouldn't sign Rick
Fox it would be a blessing in disguise if he left. Jamison & Walker have
the potential to be Howard & Webber like tandem and with Duncan
spearheading the offense, the C's would be a strong inside team. Once we
establish the inside game we have Dana Barros, Doug Wesley to take the open
jumpers.

Knight is good but he is 5' 10" and though Damon Stoudamire has had some
success but given a chance I would prefer a 6' 10" sophomore with talent
then waste my pick on an undersized PG.

Willoghby is 6' 3" and in NBA he will get posted by taller and stronger
SG's.

Thomas has a lot of potential plus at 6' 10", 240 lbs, he has an NBA body.
He needs a coach who can teach him some low post moves and NBA teams might
be willing to do so.

I haven't seen McGrady so can't comment on it.

Don't forget that Calipari almost drafted Bryant at #7 until he got cold
feet.
