I disagree.  ML Carr is the general manager and thus he has to make 
the final decision on all personell decisions.  He gets the credit 
for the trade because the buck stops this him.  I don't care whose 
idea it was etc.  ML is the one responsible and the one who should be 
held accountable.  He gets the credit and blame for everything under 
his tenure.  

Why don't you think that his opinion will hold sway?  He doesn't have 
to convince the others he is right.  He calls the shots--not Red, DJ, 
Larry or Ed Lacerte.  Don't you think he'll put the most weight 
behind his own thoughts?
