ML is a nice guy and means well, His trade with Dallas was great....But
he has no clue how to coach. They have no cohesiveness on offense and we
can't even defend the pick and roll on defense. With the athletes on
this team we should be able to aleast be able to play better defense.
How many times do we have to see uncontested layups before coach ML
teaches them how to switch on defense. When was the last time you saw us
score on an out of bounds play after a time out? I can remember us not
even being able to get the ball inbounds but I can't remember us
scoreing.. I feel more confortable with this team when ML is not trying
to run plays. Where's the coaching? I don't see it. Our top players are
surviving on talent alone. They have not learned the basics of team
offense or team defense. ML seems to have a very laid back attitude
about this season.( Has he received a T for anything this year) I can't
remember one. How can a coach who wants to win so badly not get
frustated( at least once) or continue to smile and talk to the fans and
opposing players while his team gets crushed game in and game out. ML
is nothing but a smooth talking towel waving cheerleader who will never
take this team to the next level. ML is a good PR man but can't coach. I
wouldn't want him coaching my son's grade school team let alone the
onece proud celtics. I don't think he could guide the Bulls to a
championship. We need a real coach!!!
