I agree.  I wouldn't trade the picks and antoine for any college player who
has ever come out, including bird, magic and michael.  Maybe Russell, if I
knew going in that he would be Russell.  Antoine is a franchise type player,
and a lot of teams have won titles with noncenter franchises.  The third pick
this year could be a superstar, and the sixth pick could be a very good
player too.  And who knows what next year's pick will be?  You're talking
about giving up you whole talent base, and all young players with big
upsides, for a single center who may or not even be a legitmate five. (i
think he is, but so what?)  No way.  The picks yes, antoine no.

P.S. I do think this points up what I have said about last years draft being
one of deepest in history. To think we got antoine at six!  What do you think
he would be this year?  Or what do you think Kerry Kittles would be?
