Simply put - Pitino's the man! He's proven both at the college level and the
NBA, has marketability, would be attractive to free agents, and would
certainly be a nice shot in the arm for Antoine. With a young nucleus to the
team, a guy from the college ranks who also knows how to win in the pros can
be a big plus. It has been said (I don't know how factually) that the
Celtics' job is the only one Rick would leave Kentucky for. Let's hope there
is something to the rumor.
