Re: WALKER, ETC.

Without question, Walker makes an effort to do it all, and therein lies
the problem. His skills are still unfolding and he seems ready to
display them whenever the chance arises. The problem is he doesn't have
to prove he has the skills. It's already a given. Cooz mentioned last
night also that if he gives it up during the break and fills the lane,
we'll probably get a layup or a dunk. THOSE DECISIONS WOULD BEFIT A CAPTAIN!
Right now he's playing like he wants to prove his worth on the market. I
think he's definitely not helping his cause by taking all these
shots/game. What is his FG% in comparison to, say, Abdur-Rahim or other
similarly skilled young forwards? I like Antoine a lot, but it's time to
put the reins on for the sake of the team. RP needs to tell him to give
it up on the break especially with a young and improving pg wide open
ahead of the play. Hopefully this aspect of his game will improve in
time. Last year, he pretty much did what he wanted to.
