Re: Walker not giving the ball up

This being the case, I completely agree that Walker should have passed the
ball forward to Mercer. However, I do feel that Walker's shot selection has
improved greatly the last few games. He is taking fewer shots and is
hitting nearly 50% of them. This seems to be happening because the rest of
the team is stepping up and playing better. Hopefully if Mercer, Billups,
McCarty, and the rest of the Celtics continue their improved play, Walker
will continue to decrease his low percentage shots as well since he won't
have to shoulder so much of the load.
And by the way, Billups shooting percentage has finally broken the 40%
barrier for the season. At least it was before his last 2 for 7 outing, but
I think it is still over 40%. I consider this quite an improvement since
he was down in the mid 30's for all of the preseason and most of the season
thus far. Hopefully, he will continue his improvement. Things are
certainly beginning to look up for the men in green.
