Re: Sprewell had options.



What trial? Just because Johnny Cockroach was with him doesn't mean there's
going to be a trial. For what? against whom? The only one who could
possibly be on trial is Sprewell and PJ has already said that he is not
going to press charges. Right now, the beef is between the NBA and
Sprewell. He doesn't want to be on the Warriors, he just wants the money.
He would not fight one minute in court against the Warriors because he
doesn't want to be on the team, therefore, PJ's character would never enter
the picture.

Now, there could be a civil suit, in which case Cockroach has no role. He's
a criminal defense attorney and until Sprewell has to defend himself on an
assault charge, having Cockroach for an attorney is window dressing.
