Hey Tim. Yeah, I was also disappointed to hear that someone wanted to trade
Walker. I'll give KG credit, he has awesome talent, but no way in hell is he
worth 20 mil a year. Walker is more versatile anyways. In a few years
though, we may be facing the same problems with Walker, but maybe not. He'll
definitely be a top commodity when he reaches the FA market in the summer of
99. Look to pay at least 12-15 mil for him. By that time, salaries will be
much higher than that. And I'll agree that KG is very greedy. He ranks up
there with $haq O'Neal in my mind. Well, close enough anyways. Hopefully the
NBA develops a good salary cap that will eliminate these problems. Back in
the old days, you had to be a proven player to even be considered for such
contracts. But now, you have young immature punks making more than the
established veterans. Anyways, Go Celts! You're in BeanTown now baby, BeanTown!!
