Are you sure you are not confusing Paul Westphal & Paul Westhead ?

Westphal's Phoenix teams were adequate defenders when their stars K.J., 
Williams, Barkley, Majerle were not injured.  Westphal got canned for his
team's underachieving, but anyone who knows Phoenix knows Cotton
Fitzsimmons calls the shots.  Westphal would be a preferable choice to
Brown for me.

I also like someone's idea of going after Andrew Declerq.  He is aggressive
& runs the floor well, and probably would be reasonable. Dump Hamer,
Lister, Brickowski, etc.
